Fairways were in great shape for so late into the summer. Greens putt true and were relatively smooth.

Regular member of Torrey Pines and this is a better value for out of towners! Course is currently in great shape and enough challenges for most golfers!

With a JC Club card, the price is reasonable. I probably wouldn't pay $100. + to play this course unless I was staying at the resort. By the way, this is in San Diego. Rancho Bernardo is a community of the city.

With the JC Card the price is very good. I would not pay more than $75 to play this course

The JC Players card is the way to get the best value from this course. The "card" prices are very competitive (approximately $45) with other courses in the area, but the resort atmosphere is what gives the RBI the edge. The players club card works best for locals, or those playing multiple rounds in San Diego. The 50 year old course was under construction (one hole at a time) for a new irrigation system when we played. Once completed in a couple of months this will be a lovely place for a round of golf. The greens were is excellent shape, the staff friendly, the price (with the card) is a bargain. Also, the outside patio is a great place for a beer or lunch overlooking the 18th hole. Suggestion: use the bag drop, parking can be a healthy walk from your car to the pro shop. If parking is tight free valet service is offered to golfers at the Inn entrance. Overall, a pleasant golf experience in the midst of an old Rancho Bernardo residential neighborhood.

$135??? are you kidding.....lousy shape, poor conditions of tee boxes and greens...way over priced. Would have been questionable at $50.

enjoyable course for an old track, staff was friendly, greens were in good shape for time of year, pace of play was the only negative but not bad ( around four hours ) we just like to play fast, a good course for small groups who just want to play a relaxed round and aren't looking for a hard challenge.

$139 was a shock to me. last year price was $60-70 and had a twilight rate of $33... I do like the course and it was in nice shape except two greens are currently being replaced so they had small temporary ones (holes 1 and 14)

Better than average course with public access. Some of the holes offer a mature, sophisticated design. The Pars 3s on the back side are very short (100-120 yards from the whites). Generally in good condition. Pro shop and on course staff are friendly; some of the starters are a little too officious.

Tee to greens were in great condition - greens had been aerated a month previously and were still in disappointing condition with a lot of sand on some of the greens

The course is not long, but the creek through the center and the trees along the fairway makes accuracy a must. The Pro Shop Staff is very helpful and nice. They make you feel they are glad you came to their course.

The late afternoon conditions of the greens were very bumpy and slow. This is a resort course that has never lived up to the "resort" billing. It plays as an OK muni type course at resort rates Lots of money has been poured into the buildings, now the course should get some well needed upgrades to bring it into the resort condition and playability that one expects.

San Diego is in a drought, but this course has a well and everything is green and in great condition with some beautiful water holes. I played as a guest of a member and got a very low rate for afternoon play. This is a destination resort and has lots of conferences, so the amenities are first rate and the ambiance is top notch. Definitely recommend this course if you get a chance to play.
